Nature is the wise elder. This session theme introduces the healing benefits of our relationship with Nature. Through Nature Connection Practices, we experience Nature as healer and explore the effects Nature immersion has on our brain and nervous system.
When we approach each other as Nature, as entities with deep wisdom and value, we shift the way we ARE with one another. Through a variety of exercises on the Land, the process of attunement improves our interpersonal, intrapersonal, and inter-species communication.
Ever wonder what is going on in the soil beneath our feet? We literally walk on a magic carpet. By exploring Nature's way of interacting, we discover how our unique strengths support the Wellbeing of the Whole.
Eyes and heart wide open we learn to embrace the stillness of Nature--or Nature's baseline. The practice of observing changes--in the wind, an animal's behavior, the growth pattern of a tree--allows us to observe the shifts in our own inner landscape. We grow in emotional intelligence--curiosity, self-awareness, compassion, & empathy.
